Thoughts on Design
Design showcases the influence an object has through interaction, creating a connection based on a language of senses. There is great importance to holding a space in design for the creation of emotive designs with this physical language, enhancing how people reflect on themselves and current-day events. Designing based on themes such as horror, whimsy, fun, sci-fi, and more explores the strongest emotions in a physical sense through designed objects, creating an influence. People notice when you define yourself not by one genre, but by the influence of many, and they notice when you take the care to use that influence into a complete object which others can be inspired by. My design goals are continually motivated by wanting to create positive ripples in these communities, which are inspired by the same genres, on top of the desire to have my marks transferred from paper to the real world.
